Now Astraea’s scales shine close by Virgo as the constellation of Libra…Astraea, whose name means Star Maiden, was the last deity to leave Earth…”

Astraea, the daughter of Zeus and Themis, represents the shape of the goddess of virtue in the sky looking toward the Earth to be virtuous enough for her to descend down and live in peace.
According to Greek mythology during the Golden Age under Titan rule, gods lived with humans together on Earth. But as the Olympian Era began, gods started assuming a role superior to that assigned to the humans. After Prometheus, a Titan, stole the Olympian fire and handed it over to the humans, Zeus sent down Pandora with her infamous Pandora's Box and unleashed all the demons on Earth. All the gods immediately left the earth for their home in Olympus, but Astraea was so much in love with earth that she waited till the end when everyone else had left. In the end, Astraea also had to leave very unwillingly since the earth was filled with demons all around. But she left her heart here only and, being the goddess of virtue, saved her place in the constellation of Virgo.

Astrea, hija de Zeus y Temis, representa la forma de la diosa de la virtud en el cielo mirando hacia la Tierra y esperando sea suficientemente virtuosa para poder descender y vivir en paz.
Según la mitología griega durante la Edad de Oro bajo el dominio de los titanes, los dioses y los seres humanos vivían juntos en la Tierra.
